Cheryl’s Everyday Haiku 2013 (Week 13)

March 26 – April 1

Haiku #82 (March 26)

Sun with her warm strength
Reaches down through clouds and fog
To seal Winter’s fate.

by Cheryl Crockett

Haiku #83 (March 27)

Unfamiliar road
I go left instead of right
Fresh inspiration.

by Cheryl Crockett

Haiku #84 (March 28)

Not found in nature
They emerge this time each year
Neon yellow peeps.

by Cheryl Crockett

Haiku #85 (March 29)

Spring’s princess now reigns
She fought winter alone
But won decisively.

by Cheryl Crockett

Haiku #86 (March 30)

Winter relents
Flowers release their perfume
Bright colors dot grey hills.

by Cheryl Crockett

Haiku #87 (March 31)

Bunnies, chicks and fawns
are still quite adorable
near the empty tomb.

by Cheryl Crockett

Haiku #88 (April 1)

She sent him away
But he did not want to go
Spring took Winter back.

Thanks! Too bad we have so much “crazy” that happens once Spring gets underway. Crazy happens all the time, but it seems April is a BIG month for it.
