Poet-a-tete lives here now

July 2, 2012

On the first day of a new month, one of my favorite months of the year, poetatete returned to the internet.

The tag-line has evolved over the years; the most current one is at the top of this page. The most recent one was: “the place where powerfully profound, positive poetic presentation persists”. I just love “P” words!

After a very long time away, my first performance of 2015 will be on Saturday, April 18th, between 9:00 and 10:00 a.m., at Busboys and Poets 1025 5th Street, N.W. (5th and K Streets). Come have some brunch and hear some poetry.

The Poet-a-tete Facebook Group is active but not everyone is on Facebook. Twitter can “hear” @poetatete tweets, but not everyone is into Twitter. Here is the place where powerfully profound, positive poetic presentation persists online.

I have met and made many poetic friends in the 15 years since the Poet-a-tete live event started in October of 2000. I look forward to seeing many of you here again.
